The ideal candidate will excel at collaborating with and influencing diverse cross-functional Navy & Marine Corps stakeholders and navigating opportunities across the Department of Navy (DON). This role calls for an entrepreneurial self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, small business setting, and can confidently influence peers and senior colleagues while contributing across the entire business development, capture, and proposal development lifecycle. You’ll operate at the intersection of defense acquisition, operational planning, and advanced technology delivery—bridging customer need and product innovation.

Lead Software Engineer, Web & Cloud Solutions

We’re building the next generation of secure, cloud-native, operator-facing software—and we’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer, Web & Cloud Solutions to help architect and deliver it. This role will initially be an initial senior, individual-contributor role with a clear path to formal technical leadership as the product line and engineering team scale.

Success in this role means more than just technical execution. You take initiative to drive solutions end-to-end—even across organizational boundaries—and thrive in ambiguity, balancing short-term wins with long-term maintainability. You enjoy mentoring teammates, translating complexity into clarity, and staying hands-on as you lead by example. You value diverse perspectives, elevate team success above individual credit, and remain calm under pressure or tight deadlines. Above all, you’re curious and advocate for modern tools and best practices, creating structure in fast-moving environments and building systems—and teams—that last.

Manufacturing Technician

At Firestorm Labs, we are building the future of distributed, mission-adaptive airpower for the modern warfighter. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be directly responsible for building, inspecting, and supporting the integration of UAV systems that are deployed in real-world operational environments. Operations Technician

We’re seeking a highly capable Operations Technician to support the operation, deployment, and development of the xCell system—a rapid, deployable manufacturing lab used to produce mission-critical components, including modular unmanned aerial systems (MUAS), in forward environments. Reporting to the Technical Program Manager, you’ll be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and deployment of the xCell system to ensure high-quality output in support of both engineering and operational needs. You’ll be part of a hands-on team that keeps the system functional, mobile, and mission-ready across diverse and dynamic conditions.

Project Engineer, Weapons

Firestorm is building next-generation, deployable combat systems and we’re looking for a Project Engineer, to join our Payloads Group. In this role, you’ll lead the design, integration, test, and certification of kinetic and non-kinetic effectors on our tactical sUAS platforms, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant weapons employment from concept through field deployment.

This role will take ownership of the full weapons integration lifecycle, managing everything from safing/fuzing to release systems, interface documentation and live-fire testing. This isn’t about developing theoretical capabilities for a future that never arrives; it’s about fielding mission-ready payloads that operators will carry into live environments. You’ll work at the intersection of warfighter intent and technical execution, balancing rigor with agility, and compliance with tactical need. From loitering munitions to emerging payloads, you’ll help shape a flexible and scalable effects architecture that brings precision to the squad level and beyond.

This is a role for engineers who think like tacticians, sweat the details, and thrive in a fast-moving, multi-disciplinary environment.

Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Firestorm is building out a specialized DevSecOps function to drive a secure, automated software factory supporting every product we ship—from firmware and FPGA to Android apps, desktop GUIs, and cloud-native microservices.
